Principal (1999 to 2009): Established this venture to strategically guide consumer products manufacturers in introducing and distributing products through electronic retail channels, primarily QVC & Shop NBC.
Directed product development, formulation and flavor varieties for the top-selling weight loss product. Personally sold it on QVC for 10 years, driving sales from $500K to $14 million annually.
Guided design and feature enhancement for the top-selling pet product, which offered designer colors, an industry 1st.
Introduced the top-selling women’s girdle to QVC, and contributed to positioning it on the channel. Sales increased more than 200%.
Branded the top-selling breath product, created several brand extensions, and doubled sales over the life cycle of the product.
Delivered presentations at Drexel University and The Learning Annex in NYC on the benefits of electronic retail, TV commerce and the direct response sectors for certain products, over traditional bricks and mortar retailing.
